Opera Australia Principal Artist Emma Matthews is lending her dazzling top notes to the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra for a glorious celebration of Aaron Copland and Igor Stravinsky’s masterworks in Appalachian Spring at Hamer Hall, 8pm, 6 and 7 June.

The evening will begin with Copland's Appalachian Spring: Suite before moving to Copland's Eight Poems of Emily Dickinson. The World Premiere of Stanhope's Piccolo Concerto graces the middle of the program while Stravinsky's The Firebird Suite will conclude the night.
